Ground Opens in Oregon
A giant sink hole opened on Monday 1st February, 2016 in Harbour, Oregon causing traffic delay and closing nearby businesses.
The startling pit, which started out less than a foot across in mid December, suddenly turned into a monster 80 feet in diameter on January 28th, after an inch and half rain caused a culvert to fall and triggered a landslide nearby.
The hole has closed down the stretch of US 101 that runs through the unincorporated town of Habour, just south of the city of Brookings, according to news reports.
