Transforming drone that can fly and swim


Researchers from Oakland University embedded system research laboratory, built a drone that can transition from flying to diving and swimming.

The drone is equipped with a cylinder that hangs below its air frame. 

The cylinder when filled with air, provide drone with buyancy so it can transition from flying to floating.

The cylinder pumps out air allowing it to be filled with water and sink and also it, can pump out the water to return to the surface and fly.

The drone was built for the drones for good competition that will be held in Dubia; February 4th - 6th, the competition comes with a prize of $1 million.


What an exciting news for filmmakers.
