Bill Harder to write, Direct and Star in 'Barry' a HBO pilot

According to Deadline, the SNL alum Bill Harder might get his very own HBO show; they claim the pay network has ordered a half -hour comedy pilot called Barry, in which Harder is attached to co-write, direct and star.

The series will follow Harder as an 'ex-marine who works as a low rent hitman in the mid west. Lonely and dissatisfy in his life he begrudgingly travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theatre scene.

Silicone Valley executive producer Alec Berg will co-write and produce the pilot with Harder.
